Meaning: Janbolat is of Persian origin, formed from “jan” — “soul, spirit, life” and “bolat” — “steel, very hard and solid iron”, and it conveys the idea of a person whose spirit is as strong as steel, enduring and brave. The name is used mainly among Kazakhs and is regarded as a variant of Janpolat and of the Kyrgyz form Janbolot.
